愛嬌たっぷりのふくろうが並んだ生地でがま口のショルダー
バッグを作りました。ちょこんとついたリボンは取り外しが
できるように後ろのブローチピンで留めてあります。
レザーのショルダーストラップを付けて斜めがけできます。
良い写真でなくて恐縮ですが斜めがけするとこんな感じです。
けっこう大きいです。荷物が重くなることもあると思うので
がま口金はレザー用の手縫い糸で縫い留めてあります。
共布で作った手提げ用の短いストラップに付け替えました。
ストラップの付け位置を変えて、がま口部分を下にパタンと
折りたたむとコンパクトなショルダーバッグに変身します。
このがま口バッグは友人のあずきさんからお姉様の誕生日
プレゼントにとご注文いただいて製作しました。愛らしい
ちょっと眠そうな？ふくろう柄の生地もあずきさんが見つ
けてくれました。あずきさんが作る素敵なケーキや料理の
写真を見るたびにふぉぉーと思わず唸ってしまうのですが
かわいいものを見つける才能もさすがです。

2014年の一週一品はこれで終了です。
後半は遅れたり、最後の最後はぎりぎりだったりしましたが
なんとかかんとか52週分完走できました。ホッとしました。
遅れてしまっても途中で投げ出さなくて良かったです。。。

実物を手にはしたものの、そのまま宅配の箱に梱包したので姉が送ってきた映像と今写真をみて可愛いと実感しております

Boy, you've been busy making bags and pouches! Those frame pouches that open wide into a square are so handy. I'm kinda bummed about frame pouches lately because I just can't get them finished nicely. The seams don't line up with the hinge, or glue gets all over. I know I need to let the glue stand for a few minutes before attempting to put the bag in, but it's hard to wait when you just want to get it done! Are you using regular 手芸ボンド? I have the yellow bottle of 速乾木工用ボンド and it is not quick drying at all...
I'm also glad to see someone else wears their Birkies in the house. ;-P

I totally agree with you. Yes, it's difficult to get frames finished neatly, and I'm always annoyed with glue. There must be some tricks and tips for them, but I still cannot figure it out.
I'm using regular 手芸ボンド, but it's not handy for me either. I think there must be better one, so when I find it, I'll be sure to let you know!
And about Birkies...actually I started wearing my Birkies in the house after I saw you wearing them when I visited Awaji Island few years ago. Since then, I love wearing Birkies at home! :-D It's so comfy, isn't it? Thank you!
